Abim Prominent Journalist Mike Ogwang Declares intention to Contest As District Chair

Abim, Uganda: With the current political situation in Abim district ,a youthful journalist attached to Karibu FM in Abim Town, has shown interest to join Abim LCV race come 2026 election.
Ogwang John Mike in his late 30s has told the media that his intention to contest is to bring hope in La_ Abwor leadership at Local government level.
He further accused the current District leader of failing to serve the interest of people of Abim.
He said if elected into office,he will improve road network from Morulem to Opoopngo via Nyakwae area.
As well he will fight to reduce cases of land disputes which common in the district.
Mr. Ogwang didn't disclose the party he will Contest under but said he will run for LC 5 seat in Abim District.
