Pajule Town council: Former Councilor Ocaya Vows to Win  LC three  chairperson Race

Pader, Uganda: Mr.Ocaya Goddy Godfrey, commonly  known as 'Boo Malaba-laba' has vowed  to became the next urban Council 3 chairperson  of Pajule town council inorder to root for a better development of the town  in the year 2026.

Hon.Ocaya Goddy Godffrey, is running for Urban Council 3 (Mayor )of Pajule Town Council under NRM ticket in the year 2026. He promises to address the town's stagnation and unlock its development potential in a more organised way than ever before.

Key in his manifesto is the issue of Pajule main Market where water chanel is a challenge at the moment.

Malaba-laba, a former LC5 councilor for Pajule Sub-county, highlights the poor state of the main market.He criticizes lack of proper drainage system and a roofings, causing difficulties for vendors, especially during the rainy season within and around the market area.

Notably, is the healthcare deficiencies ,urging that Pajule HC IV, the town's largest health center serving a substantial population, should be upgraded to a district Hospital of Pader. He is worried about lack of coordination between some  local and national leaders describing it as a factor that has hampered this progress and development in Pajule. Additionally, he criticizes the dilapidated state of the maternity ward at Pajule  Health Centre IV and the sharing of  wards for both men and women who are always admitted (patients), which he find it improper for humanity.

Mr. Goddy Malaba-laba Ocaya narrated that ,at the moment the Pajule town council lacks functional streetlights, even though Pajule was among the first area to have them in the 1990s. He emphasizes the need for improved infrastructure, including roads, to support business activity within and outside Pajule town council.

Ocaya is focusing on business community concern in Pajule.

His campaign slogan, "Mayor pa LUCAN" (Bringing Development to Pajule), which really reflects his commitment to supporting businesses and residents, especially the underprivileged.

He acknowledges funding limitations but emphasizes the importance of proactive leadership to secure resources. He believes leaders must actively seek opportunities to bring development to Pajule.

Malaba-laba concludes by urging voters to elect trustworthy leaders to propel Pajule /Pader forward and combat corruption.
