Project Hope Sch  Graduation Day Leaves Parent Excited As Kids Display their Talents

Kole, Uganda ; Project Hope School in Kole has successfully trained and promoted 68 nursery children to the primary level. A colorful ceremony took place on the school playground in Calo Me lare, Akalo, Kole District, where parents, community members, and school officials enjoyed various performances by the children. 

Betty Akello, one of the parents thanked teachers for exposing their tolders to diffrent stage of games and activties. She said such activities help kids to develop and identify their hiden talents when they are still young.

The school administrator disclosed that these successful kids were taught for three years, as required by the Ministry of Education and Sports, and they performed excellently. 

Mr. Charles Emiko, the Director of Project Hope Schools, expressed gratitude to the parents for their support, emphasizing that nursery education is crucial for children's academic journeys. 

He also said that the school will welcome these successful kids into the primary section for the 2025 academic year.

In addition to the nursery program, Mr. Emiko assured everyone that learning in other classes, from primary to secondary, is progressing well, with hopes of achieving even better academic results, as has been the tradition. 

He encouraged parents to be mindful of their spending during the festive season to avoid difficulties when the 2025 academic year begins early next year.

What makes Project Hope School special

  its was established during the peak of the LRA insurgency in Northern Uganda, aimed to helping children from low-income families access reliable and affordable education. 

The school has inspired the Akalo community and the wider Lango region to value education. 

In 2023, all their PLE candidates passed and qualified for the next level of education and it was among the top performers in Primary Leaving Examinations in the entire northern Uganda. 

Beyond academics, Project Hope Schools also offer vocational skills training to help students earn a living while pursuing their studies. Founded by a U.S based Christian organization, the learning center also aims to nurture God-fearing children in the community.
