2026: NRM Mobliser Ajok Bless Declares Move to Contest for Oyam Woman MP Seat

Oyam, Uganda: Unlike in the previous elections  where the incumbent woman Mp (UPC)Santa Alum Ogwang  walked alone without tough challengers, 2026 won't be an easy walk to everyone as an experienced NRM female politician Ajok Bless Otim has jumped into the ring to contest for the same seat.

Addressing media on phone, NRM's Ajok said she has fully organized to participate and contest against the incumbent woman MP Oyam District in the upcoming election under the ruling party.

Ajok disclosed that it's now time for young people ti reclaim their leadership seats from the poor performing leaders.

" I want to address the issue of women wealth and health, our community people are suffering because of choosing greedy leaders who don't value them." She said.

She also further explained her move in promoting gril child education in Oyam. 

" I  want to introduce a Foundation which will focus on moblising resources to educate girls from poor families." 

Currently, NRM party is moblising intensively to fully take political command of Oyam distudt and paint it yellow.
