UPC Akena gets Candidate for Dokolo by-election race

UPC party headed by Jimmy James Akena has endorsed Shara Aguti who lost an election in Dokolo WMP parliamentary election in 2021  as  their official candidate for Dokolo woman parliamentary seat By-election.

This was made during a district conference on Monday at Dokolo Catholic parish.

Mr. William Onyanga the UPC party registrar declared her after reconciling with other aspiring candidates like Josephine Acen Amolatar district education officer and Anna Okwir, the former Dokolo district councilor respectively.

 Upon the reconciliation, the two  stepped down in support of Hon. Shara Aguti Nyakoroi since she participated in the previous elections in Dokolo.
