Stop Politicking and focus on development _ R.D.C Warns leaders

Amolatar, Uganda: The resident district commissioner Amolatar, Francis Okello Odoki Rwotlonyo has warned local leaders against getting involved in political wrangles instead of doing their work.

,, Time for politicking ended in 2021 and you are expected to work until 2026 when you will resume politicking. I don't think we can achieve anything if we are divided ,, he said. 

Okello, Criticised leaders in the district for failing to sensitize Locals on government programs aimed at Social Economic Transformation and also on how to Fight poverty 

He said although poverty is caused by ignorance and lack of planning among family heads , district leaders had not helped the situation by discussing politics all the time. 

Okello Odoki Rwotlonyo,encouraged people to embrace government poverty alleviation programmes likes Y. L. P, Emyooga and P.D.M among others.

He also warned leaders against politicizing government programs , asking locals to get rid of such practices by exposing the victims to the authority.
