Community Starts Market in Memory of Departed MP Angiro Gutomoi in Lira

Lira, Ug: Residents of Arwot omito parish have named a market in memory of their fallen son , Charles Angiro Gutomoi the former member of parliament of Erute North. 

During the meeting held on Friday February 23, 2024, with joy, love, they aggreed to donate part of their land for the creation of MP Angiro memorial Market. 

" Our son Late MP Angiro has been an instrumental figure in our region most especially our area, it's therefore important that we don't let his legacy die". They Said.

On the burial of late MP Angiro several leaders made promises to ensure that his name and legacy is kept for memory, however, there is no implementations.

Peter Opio an elder son to the late  MP, Charles Angiro Gutomoi said as the family they have welcomed the development.

Opio disclosed that preparation is underway  to have a cultural dance competition on Friday this week 1st of March at the propose Market side in Ayami.

He appealed for support from the local leaders of Lira District and Lango never to allow the legacy of the prominent Lango disappear from the public.
