RDC Hasaka orders Arrest Of Obongi Councilor, Sub-county Chief over Assault of Two civil servants
April, 17 / Obongi, UG: The RDC Obongi Samuel Mpimbaza Hashaka has ordered arrest for Palorinya councilor and sub-county Chief for alleged theft of over 7 million shillings,assault of civil servants and vandalism of government property in Palorinya sub-county Obongi district.
Hashaka gave the directive to the OC Base camp Refugee settlement during an emergency security meeting after the Palorinya sub-county chief Morudrale and Parish chief Ubbi Parish, Vuciri Albert alledgly led over 30 hooligans to attack the Palorinya sub-county headquaters.
The councilor was also accused of beating two civil servants and a baby,vandalisation of sub-county property which included motor cycles,cupboards and stole over Seven (7 )million shillings.
The RDC who was accompanied by the new Obongi district vice chairman ,Hon.Okunzi Louis Drale and senior A CAO Job Tabu directed the OC Base camp SP Lutalo Ronald to immediately arrest all the suspects whom he referred to as thugs who got involved in attacking the sub-county headquarters.
According to RDC Obongi, the suspects used hoes,axes and sticks to beat the civil servants and chased them from their offices.
The Obongi RDC Hasaka Samuel assured the technical staff and politicians of protection and security.
