The outstanding leadership of Canon Moses Ogwal in the education sector has resulted in his election as the new clan chief of Atek Olimakwanga. 

Atek Olimakwanga is one of the pupular clans in lango sub-region with it members in all part of lango and abroad. 

Ogwal, a respected figure within Lango's educational community, was elected in a recent election to succeed the late leader.

During a press conference, Bonny Otim,  the Chairperson of the Election Commission declared him a winner, confirming that Ogwal met all the required qualifications to take on the role of clan leader. 

In a statement to the press, the newly elected clan chief, Canon Moses Ogwal, emphasized his dedication to prioritizing education as a strategy to alleviate poverty within the clan. 

He also mentioned that his administration would foster peace and unity among clan members. With a strong track record in leadership, he plans to introduce initiatives to support both formal and informal education, enabling clan members to improve their livelihoods.

Additionally, the proud clan chief also revealed his will work hand in hand with the clan members to establish a cultural heritage center for clan.

About the new clan chief: Moses Ogwal is recognized as a leading advocate for education in Northern Uganda. Under his guidance, he has mentored and developed numerous successful young individuals. 

Currently due to his effective leadership, Namosale Technical School is excelling in both sports and academics, with all candidates achieving commendable results examinations.
