Eddy Kenzo Mourns BeePee
Beepee, was pronounced dead on Wednesday, 24, 2024 after he succumbed to injuries he sustained in a road accident within Lira City on Tuesday evening.
Lira-Uganda;On 24th January 24, 2024, Northern Ugandan celebrated musician died at Lira Referral Hospital after sustaining injuries in tradgic road accident near Frontage Club, Lira City.
His demise has saddened community of Northern Uganda.
On his official social media address, Bobi Wine, Ugandan musician turned politician shared his condolence to the family members and fans of the departed music stars.
"I have learnt of the sad news of the demise of Munu Benard Paul aka "Beepee," a renowned artist in Lango sub-region who passed on last night at Lira Regional Referral Hospital, May his soul rest in peace." He posted.
The President of Uganda National Musicians Federation, Eddy Kenzo described the incident as unfortunate.
"These incidents are very unfortunate to our industry, and we pray the Lord rests our brothers in peace and comforts their families in this trying moment.’’ He said.
He cautioned all his colleagues in the sectors to always be vigilant while using the road.

Departed musician is popularly known in Northern Uganda with the song "Akello" an award winning song which he composed advocating girl child's right to education.
