Museveni Gives 10M Ugx to Widow of the Departed R&B Music King BeePee

H.E president of Uganda, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has given 10M Ugx cash to the widow of the departed R&B singer, Munu Benard aka BeePee.

The  cash was delivered on Saturday February 3, 2024 at burial in Okwalongwen, Dokolo District by Health Minister Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng.

Aceng who doubles as Lira City woman mp was accompanied also by Lira  Resident City Commissioner, Emmy Lawernce Egole.

In her remarks,  Minister Aceng said Beepee was   an intrumental and inspirational figure in the music  industry. 

The hardworking minister also conveyed condolence from H. E president Yoweri Museveni to the family.

"Late BeePee was a humble soul who loved everyone around him. He was like a son to me. Minister told mourners. 

Minister Aceng also pledged to be close with family of departed singer. 

Meanwhile, Dokolo RDC Babra Akech asked young peole to emulate the character in late BeePee.

"Beepee we have buried today has shown to us that education is the way to success. I appeal to everyone here, please lets embrace education weather your a parent or a musician." RDC added. 

National Unity Platform President, Bobi Wine also sent in his  representative at the burial.
