ARCC Olang Addresses Fellow Students at Lira University

Lira City, Uganda – As the saying goes, the pursuit of knowledge is a lifelong journey, and Sam Olang, President Museveni's trusted aide, is a testament to this truth. Recently appointed as the Assistant Resident City Commissioner for Lira City West, Olang is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration and Management at the esteemed Lira University, known as the beacon of Lango, a field that perfectly complements his aspirations in leadership.

On Saturday, his classmates hosted a cocktail party where Olang was given the honor of delivering an inspiring motivational speech.

In his articulate and compelling address, ARCC Olang expressed heartfelt thanks to the various supporters who have encouraged him throughout his academic journey.

The gathering also served as a celebration of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) government's significant contributions to education and community development.

Olang took the opportunity to praise his professors and peers in the Bachelor of Public Administration and Management program at Lira University for their steadfast support and prayers, which have propelled him forward. He underscored the vital role of education in equipping individuals with the knowledge necessary for fostering positive change in society.

“Educational services are essential for empowering individuals,” he emphasized, acknowledging the NRM government's dedication to improving educational access both nationally and globally, Olang noted.

Olang is among the best performing young representatives of the president who is committed to coordinating and monitoring government programs especially the Parish Development Model- PDM in his area of jurisdiction.
