Inside NRM meeting as the party seeks to paint Oyam yellow

Oyam, Uganda: Oyam woman MP hopeful and a member of the Nation Resistance Movement party Stella Anyango has challenged her party to learn lessons from the recent by-elections and forge a new dawn.

Anyango who has served as the secretary for health and education and chairperson of the committee or Finance and administration said NRM has recently displayed dismal performance because of uncoordinated movement of troops.

She appealed to the NRM secretariat to maximally utilise the local party structures ,empower them with resources and embrace unity so that the party can challenge opposition politically parties and in specific UPC that has painted Oyam Red.

According to Anyango,who holds a diploma in law and a degree in Public Adminstration and Management,the time is now for her generation to take over the mantle of leadership for effective service delivery in Oyam.

She then in her benevolence met the cost of the conference hall at Jareen hotel in Oyam town and also offered refreshments for the NRM youth Coordinators.

John Okullu,the adminstrative NRM secretary for Oyam meanwhile oriented the youth mobilisers on the ideological pillars of the National Resistance Movement Party that has seen it grow from strength to strength in the governance and leadership of this country.

He disclosed that NRM is a resistance, revolutionary and a liberation movement because it suppasses the mark of a national party but rather a global movement with the mission of achieving pan-Africanism, strengthing regional intergration and resisting neo-colonialism.

Maxwell Edwok,a resident of Kamdini,the chairperson of Museveni Mobilising team disclosed that this is a newly started movement aimed at mobilising and canvassing for votes for President Museveni and the National Resistance Movement party in the 2026 elections

Edwok Said for the start, the coordinators are operating without any facilitation but he encouraged all members to sacrifice and mobilise for the party as they wait for some windfall along the way stressing that there core mission is to deliver victory for the old man with the hat in the studios next elections.

He encouraged the party leadership in Oyam to embrace this new "army" in a bit to uproot the culture of violence that had previously marred the internal election processes of NRM and to identify wevils within the party.

"Let me tell you that we have mascaradors within the party,during day time they are yellow but at night they are red like the inside of a water Mellon fruit because in truth they are either UPC or NUP,some are yellow at daytime but at night they are green from within like an orange because they subscribe to Nobert Mao's DP,Edwok warned"

The meeting is being attended by the Northern Uganda Coordinator in the office of the National Chairman Fr.Alfred Okello Junior.

Fr. Okello Jr. also Dokolo North MP hopeful in the next election got the youth laughing when he asked them not to wonder why a Reverend Farther would be attending a political meeting and said he is not "here to accept confessions of sins but rather confessions to spur the NRM to the next political heights.
