Moroto MP Aspirant Leo Elem Delivers Pre PLE Exams To Schools In Alebtong
Alebtong, Uganda: Leo Elem, the principal of St. Gracious School, made a generous donation of PRE-PLE exam sets to 76 schools in Alebtong district on Monday, October 21, 2024.
During the handover, he disclosed that the exam sets cover all four subjects included in the PLE exams and come with marking schemes for teachers to use while grading the PRE-PLE papers.
He emphasized that these PRE-PLE exams are of good quality aimed at boosting students' confidence and helping them get used to the exam environment. This strategy is all about easing exam nerves by getting students familiar with the whole process, from lining up to pre-exam briefings.
Elem Leo also shared his passion for education and ambition to represent Alebtong as an MP.
In an interview with the media, he declared his plans to run for the Moroto County MP seat under the UPC party in the upcoming 2026 elections.
Mr. Ocen George, the headteacher of Telela Primary School, praised Elem Leo for his generous support towards educational growth in the district.
He such development motivate and inspire teachers to deliver well in classes.
On another note, Odwee Julius Peter, the Chairperson of the Alebtong District Headteachers’ Association, congratulated Principal Elem Leo for his outstanding contributions and encouraged other headteachers to acknowledge his efforts. He noted that the materials will assist them in achieving their goal of producing excellent grades this year.
Pius Victor Okabo, the Alebtong District Inspector of Schools, pointed out that Alebtong has 76 government schools and three private ones. A total of 3,999 candidates are registered for the 2024 PLE exams and are expected to benefit from the PRE-PLE exams provided by Principal Elem.
He urged headteachers to ensure that all registered candidates sit for their final exams.
Many community members have praised Leo for his strong work ethic and dedication.
