Lira University breaks silence on purported strike by some of their staffs at the hospital

Lango, Uganda: Lira University authority has come out to reject as false claim, report of purported strike by a section of medics at the University teaching hospital.

Professor Jasper Ogwal Okeng, the vice Chancellor of Lira University in a press statement Tuesday afternoon stated that the hospital is working normally and not closed as claimed by some people and media outlets.

Earlier on there was report in circulation that some medical staffs are on strike at the teaching hospital.
