Lira City West NRM Supporters Endorse Museveni for 2026 Election
Section of residents of Lira City living in Pununluru, Anai Ward, Lira City West Division have endorsed H.E t Gen. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for the 2026 presidential election.
The resolution was made while a meeting team of the sent from RCC Office Lira to monitor the Construction of Health Centre in Punuluru, Anai Ward, Lira City West.
While carrying the president’s posters, the residents happily thanked Museveni for being a good leader, a father and a developer.
The six Resident City Commissioners who were dispatched on ground by the RCC Lira Mr. Lawrence Egole to Punuoluru to monitor and assess the construction of Punuoluru Health Centre III which is being undertaken by Build Mask were Otucu Bonny and Bonny Okello Alele for Lira City City, Olang Sam and Ojok Isaac for Lira City West Division, Opolot Masood and Akello Betty for Lira City East Division.
Bonny Okello Alele, one of the commissioners in Lira said their visit was to establish the progress of the work and value for money.
The vibrant presidential aides also stressed a point where they said they wanted to ascertain whether the people of Punuoluru had a stake in the project.
The construction of Punuluru H/C site stopped in March 2024 by fixing the cabinets and doing plumbing work.
The ARCCs later interacted with the residents of Punuoluru at the centre next to the health centre. The residents of the area were so excited seeing the vibrant young men executing their duties upon being delegated by the Resident City Commissioner.
They thanked president Museveni for the wonderful selection among the many Ugandans to serve this country.
In her comment, Adoch Anna Grace, a devoted NRM supporter said Lira City truly deserves this calibre of commissioners.
NRM party Registrar of Punuoluru appreciated Museveni for the stewardship and his leadership which is geared towards ensuring that his people are safe, healthy and wealthy at the same time. He added, NRM Government has been so committed towards securing the future of Ugandans by dwelling so much on service delivery and transforming the livelihood of the common man.
Lucy Benson Okao thanked the commissioners for paying a courtesy visit to them and assured them of votes for NRM in 2026. She also further expressed their overwhelming love and support for Hon. Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng Ocero. Adding that MP Aceng is committed towards the promotion of health care services countrywide.
Another community member by the name Ayo Oscar Kisembo thanked the president for appointing energetic youths who had been on the ground with them and assured them that they will work together with them for the betterment of the community.
Bonny Otucu, one of the commissioners who was among the team, thanked for the support and love they have shown to president Museveni and Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng.
