KWANIA-Inomo Secondary School Dedicates 154 Candidates to God a head UCE Exams

Inomo Secondary School, a government-aided institution, has dedicated 154 candidates to God in preparation for the Uganda Certificate of Education examinations commencing next Monday. 

Out the 154, Four  are transeasion candidates. Transeasion candidates,  those are candidates allowed by UNEB to repeat the old circularum.

The school has registered 16 candidates sitting for Uganda Advance Certificate of Education this year,  2024.

This remarkable event, presided by Catholic priest, featured student's performances along with various activities and speeches took place on the 9th October, 2024 at the school premises. 

Parents, well-wishers, and local leaders were present, encouraging the candidates to concentrate on their studies.

 

Joe Robinson Okwir, the Headteacher of Inomo Secondary School, addressed the students, advising them to remain calm and focused, emphasizing that the 154 candidates are pioneers of the new curriculum. He expressed gratitude to the parents for their support in their children's education and informed them about the ongoing construction of a new laboratory, assuring the community of positive results.

The outstanding Headteacher assured them of improved standards of education at the school  

Additionally, Rev. Father Rogers Okello from Aduku Catholic Parish, who anointed and dedicated the candidates, urged them to avoid behaviors that could jeopardize their future, cautioning against being misled by the notion that wealth and success come through relationships.

He further called upon candidates to place God in the center of everything they are doing  and ensure maintaince of Discipline both at home and school.

 Addressing candidates as the chief guest of honour,  Engineer Robert Ajal urged candidates to be focused in academic and desist from bad groups.

Ajal also further emphasizead on need to promote commercial agriculture in the community.  He mentioned crops such coffee,  coca and other.
