Dokolo District NRM chairperson, Molly has finally stepped down in favor of the party candidate a week to official nominations of the candidates.

Election commission has set 21st March as polling date for election of Dokolo WMP. 

Abany who is strong mobliser of NRM party in Lango came out on Saturday March 2, 2024 at Dokolo Technical School during NRm an extended district conference.

Brought with love and Joy before delegates who have gathered to receive their party candidate, Rosemary Sseninde the director of Mobilisation said they have talked to many candidates who expressed interest to contest against party Flag bearer to step down, some have refused but others have shown maturity and stepped down.

She praised Molly Abany and two members who accepted to humble before the party and withdrew from the contest to support the party candidate.

" Members of the party, we have been the same people who were voting for the late Cecelila Atim Ogwal, it's will sad now for us to reject our own member." She appealed.

NRM Flag bearer is now gaining more supports from the ground following the declaration and full support from the top leadership.

Prossy Langol, Coordinator Office of the national chairman Lang said they will do everything possible as NRM to deliver victory.

Levi Okodi Macpio, the senior presidential assistant Lango political affairs in a separate interview called for Untiy among NRM leaders as they moblise a head of polling date for them to deliver victory.
