Be Agents of Development- Kole ARDC Munu Tells Youth
ARDC of Kole Mr. David Munu

Kole, Uganda: The Assistant Resident District Commissioner of Kole District, Mr. David Munu has urged youth in to take advantage of the proactive government programs introduced by able leadership of H.E President Musveni under the NRM transformative agenda, such as Emyooga, PDM, and the Grow Project to help kick out poverty.

He encouraged them to view these initiatives as opportunities for personal transformation. Additionally, he highlighted the ongoing challenges related to sanitation and hygiene in the community, referencing a recent report from the CSO that indicates over 10 million Ugandans lack access to basic sanitation systems, which increases the risk of communicable diseases.

He pointed out that the government allocates significant funds each year to combat these health issues, which often stem from negligence and a lack of awareness.

Commissioner Munu further appealed to young people to become agents of change in their communities, emphasizing that Uganda is a competitive nation and that the economy demands a proactive approach to challenges.

He also addressed the issues of hooliganism and idleness, encouraging the youth to adhere to the rule of law and to avoid behaviors that reflect poorly on them.

Conclusively, Munu as a vibrant mobliser of government Programs called on the commmunty of Kole Distrct to support YKM in the upcoming 2026 elections.
