Ugandans Describe MP as a patriot

The former woman member of Parliament of Dokolo, Late Cecilia Babra Atim Ogwal has been described as mentor and a patriot.

In paying tribute to late MP at parliament, several members of Parliament confessed that they where raised and brought by the good leadership of her.

Among those were testified the goodness of Mama Cecilia were Denis Hamson Obua, Government chief Whip, Abudu Katutu, Linda Agness Auma woman Mp Lira and James Olobo Dubai Mp Kyoga county among other. 

In his tribute, Nobert Mao  minister for Constitutional affair told fellow morners that Late Ogwal was great leader.

Nandala Nasanth Mafabi, the secretary general of FDC also revealed he was motivated to join politc.

" I  come from UPC family, when was young i Hon. Atim (RIP) would visit our family and inspire to be a leader." He said 

The strong opposition mp bondly challeneged the current female law makers to wake up and emulate the good leadership of the late.

"We are now prasing i mat Ogwal for standing on truth but i i dont think there is a woman who take up Atim manatle and speak without fear or favour." He said. 

Rt. Honourable speaker, i am a product of mama Cecilia Atim Ogwal, she use to advice me on what to do. 

Meanwhile, Betty Amongi Akena Upc first lady also Gender Minister said the former MP has an intrumemtal into fight against gender based violence.

The body of the former woman Mp was on Monday 22nd January taken to parliament for mps to pay their tributes.

Her body on Tuesday arrive in Lango subregion, Dokolo District through eastern route. 

On Saturday her body will finally be lied to rest at her home in Kole District.
