Presidential Advisor Sam Engola Speaks out on his Unwavering Support for NRM Party

Lira, Uganda: Erute South Parliamentary aspirant and senior presidential Advisor Hon Sam Engola , has re-echoed his unwavering support for the National Resistance Movement (NRM).

Engola who is hopeful to reclaim his seat in 2026 election under N.R.M Party ticket, will face-off with several candidates who are looking to fully represent Erute South Constituency. 

Engola promised to be accountable to the people, commited to serve above and beyond himself through lobbying and uniting the people of Erute South towards development,

 Engola who is still a very active member in the party says he will abide by the N.R.M Constitution and principles and also focuse on development . 

“ Our principles as the NRM are patriotism, social-economic transformation, democracy and unity. These are the ideals we live by. I have confidence in the NRM party systems, and I adhere to the rules and regulations that govern the party members. I do not intend to go against my party. ”

On declaring his unwavering support for the NRM and the party chairman, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, Hon. Sam Engola committed to continue working with the party to ensure prosperity and more success in  Erute South. 

“We are going back to focus on what counts – livelihoods of our people, income generating projects, making sure that service delivery is happening and traversing the area for more support,” Engola said. 

Hon. Engola also called upon party members to avoid chaos and work on uniting everyone in the party. 

“I think we as NRM representatives, need to organize ourselves and not create problems for the party and the President. Our people have realized that the NRM systems work and that the President does listen to their cries and acts upon them,”he said.

He committed that he would be on the campaign trail campaigning actively for President Museveni’s re-election and all NRM flag bearers in the upcoming 2026 National Elections. 

At the core of his politics is his interest to effectively represent the common man, defend and protect N. R. M party interest and values, Improve the grassroot Mobilization of party members, Popularize N.R.M Manifesto, government poverty reduction strategy, wealth creation and amplify Chairman's Initiative for Inclusive responsive and transparent government and lobby for more development and better Northern Uganda. 

Engola added that his major focus and priorities if voted also will include, improved health care system, extension of clean safe water and improving the road network, encouraging people to join government poverty alleviation program such as P.D.M ,Y.L.P and many others.
