Kole North Mp Hopeful Awongo Ogwal Declares War Against Poverty As He Urged Youth to focus on Agriculture

Partick Awongo Ogwal, also known as Atin Acan, MP hopeful for Kole North, has encouraged young people to vote wisely and choose leaders who focus on development like him.

Awongo, a dedicated supporter of the National Resistance Movement Party, shared this while addressing journalists in Lira City on Saturday about his plans to challenge the current MP in the upcoming election. 

He expressed his readiness to compete against independent mp Opio Acuti and mentioned that he will use his connections in the government to bring development to Kole North. 

He also urged voters not to support leaders who are ineffective and fail to bring real change, instead warning them against those who only tell lies.

 Awongo is gaining support from young people who see him as a promising developer. 

As of now, he is the only politician from the NRM who has shown interest in running for the Kole North MP seat in 2026.

Mp hopeful Awongo's top agenda is promoting education and Wealth creation. 

" I do not want to lead people who are poor because its not easy to lead them, my plan is to unite and initiate poverty alleviation programs in Kole North." He disclosed. 

He also called upon young people to embrace farming activities to boost their income.

The fresh NRM blood also said he will deliver effective service delivery.

Additionally,  he also disclosed his plan to promote inclusive leadership by promoting  peace and unity between technocrats  and political leadership.
