Excitement as MP Acon builds Modern Church for Yahweh Pentecostal Mission in Lango

Otuke, Ug:  Bishop of Yahweh Pentecostal Mission, His Grace Joel Mukalu said their mission has registered tremendous achievements which has led to the establishment of many churches across Lango sub region.

Bishop Mukalu, a devoted church man disclosed that they have more 1000 churches in operational with members of 300,000 and above fellowshipping with them

The holy father of YPM  made this during the commissioning of a modern church constructed with the support from Otuke East Member of Parliament, Julius Acon at 700 million. 

This church building, which is costed about 700 million Ugx, demonstrates a pivotal moment in the ommunity’s spiritual development.

In his homily, Bishop Joel Makalu emphasized the Church’s role in economic and social transformation.

The man of God further called for unity and togetherness among the christians. He said the church can only grow and expand through collective responsibility between christians and government.

On court issues , He appealed to President Museveni to pardon a number of Yahweh Pentacostal Mission Christians imprisoned as a result of disputes with PAG Uganda.

Mukalo pledged to continue collaborating with the government.

In the 2026 election, he said he will mobilize the people of the Lango Sub-region and surrounding areas to vote and support President H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
