NRM Agness Owiny Joins Race to unseat Dokolo Incumbent Woman MP

The vibrant NRM Moblise for Lango sub region, Agnes Owiny has finally declared move to unseat Dokolo District incumbent woman member of Parliament, UPC Shara Aguti Nyakoro in 2026 general election.

In her media address on Friday, Politician Owiny stated she is ready to contest and moblise vote for president Museveni.

As community developer, Agness said the 12th Parliament needs leaders with clear agenda for the community.

While revealing her political ambitions to the media she said she is determine to win the current seat being occupied by UPC Sarah Aguti Nyangkori.

Agness said she fully represent views of her people in Parliament once elected.

Agness fully believes that she is well-positioned to effectively represent Dokolo’s voices and concerns in parliament since she is a woman.

She outlined her legislative agenda for the residents of Dokolo, which includes:

Enhancing access to quality education and healthcare

Promoting economic empowerment and entrepreneurship

Improving infrastructure development and road networks 

 Advocating for social justice and human right.

About the political aspirant 

She a resident of Dokolo town Council, a woman activist, educator and a business entrepreneur.
